They were like, oh, my gosh, we saw you. I was like, I don’t know. I was just looking up. Thank you. Unbelievable.

Welcome back to the angels and Awakening podcast. I’m your host and author, Julie Jancius. And friends, today we have Laurie here on the show. Laurie welcome in and I’m so excited to hear your stories.

Laurie: Thank you. I’m so excited to share it. It’s been a great week.

Julie Jancius: Yeah. And tell everybody, where are you in the world?

Laurie: I am in New Hampshire.

Julie Jancius: Oh, nice. Okay, perfect.

Laurie: Right near the sea.

Julie Jancius: Nice. my dad was from Manchester. Manchester.

Laurie: Derry Dairy.

Julie Jancius: Dairy. Dairy. Dairy. Yes, that’s it. so I’m going to have you take it away and share your first story.

Laurie: Okay. My most recent story was just last week. I work. I’ll give some background. I work in the planning office for the town of Hampton. And every once in a while I have to go record documents at the registry. So when I do my recording, it’s about a half hour drive to the registry. So that’s when I’ll call friends on my car so that I can just be hands free. So I went to record the plans. And after I did that, I came out of the recording and I asked my girlfriend’s father, who passed away three years ago this past Monday. I said, I’m going to be calling or reaching Elaine, his daughter, my girlfriend. is there anything you want me to share before. Do you want to share anything with me before I give her a call? And I was just walking to the car, and I heard him say in my head, in my mind, I like the flowers. And I was walking by some beautiful fuchsia flowers at the same time. So I didn’t call my friend Elaine, but I talked to her. I sent her a text. And I said, your father said to me, I like the flowers. And she said to me, that doesn’t make any sense. And I said, well, they’re a bright fuchsia flower, like an azalea or a rhododendron. Bright pinky fuchsia flowers. And she said, no. And I said, well, what about your beach house that you have? Do you have bright fuchsia flowers at your beach house? No. So I’m talking to Maurice. His name is Maurice. And I’m m like, what are you trying to tell me if you like the flowers? I asked her, did you buy a beautiful dress that had bright flowers on it? Fuchsia flowers? No. Nothing. I was getting frustrated. So, I woke up in the morning and went to bed that night. Woke up in the morning and I said, I need some clarification for I like the flowers. And then I remember that when he was getting ready to cross over, he was failing. He rented out his house to some renters in North Carolina. And I was like, I was thinking to myself, I wonder if it’s his house, if they still have his house or own it. It’s been three years. Or did they sell it? So I called her up and I said, what about your dad’s house? Do you still have renters in his house? Or did you sell it? And she sent me a text, and it was, it’s a ranch with the renter out front with these beautiful fuchsia, azalea and rhododendron flowers. And I said. She said, what do you think is going on? And I said, I don’t know. Are you talking about up in the rent or something? I mean, you haven’t talking about the renters? And she said, actually, I am. We’ve been talking about raising the rent because it’s been three years that we haven’t. And we need to get it up to the market. And I was like, I don’t think you should be raising the rent. But anyway, it was her father. And the flowers were these, exact. They were azaleas and rhododendrons, just like I had said the dead the day before.

Julie Jancius: Oh, my goodness, Laurie I love that so incredibly much because that’s how the angels work with us, especially when we’re learning how to develop our gifts. And there was this other angel story this week where it was so weird because I don’t have this on my phone, but your phone showed it. Tell everybody what happened.

Laurie: I was here working in town hall. I came in in the morning, and all of a sudden my phone lit up. And it just said, missed call with the number didn’t mean anything to me because I don’t have your number with Julie, with any. I think it might be your personal cell number. I’m not sure.

Julie Jancius: Yeah, yeah.

Laurie: So I just clicked call back and I went out into the lobby because we have bad service here. And you answered the phone and I said, hello, this is Laurie, and we’re doing construction at our house. So I figured it might be something to do with that. And you said, hello? And I said, who am I speaking with? And you said, this is Julie. And I said, oh, I’m calling you back. And you said, I didn’t call you, Laurie I’m going to Pilates class. I did not call you. And I’m like, well, you’re showing up on my phone that I have a missed call, and here you are.

Julie Jancius: Oh, my gosh, no. And it was so funny because normally, I do a lot of work on my phone. But that morning spirit had connected me with somebody that I really, really wanted to work with business wise in this complete angel story that I’ll tell another time on the show. And I was meeting with her, like, later that day. So I got up, did my meditation, and was just on my laptop writing out and thinking and strategizing and meditating and channeling through everything that I wanted to bring up in this conversation. Because, you know when you meet with somebody and you just have, like, 20 minutes, a half an hour of their time, and you just have to be, like, really brief and really succinct. It was one of those types of meetings where you got one shot and you just either nail it or you don’t. And so I hadn’t made a single call. Like, I hadn’t touched my phone that morning. And so when you’re like, yeah, I’m thinking about the in person angel Reiki school. I don’t know if there’s still room available. I was like, there is. And I can’t believe that speaking spirit called you because it doesn’t show the number from my phone as having called anybody. But it shows on your phone and the timestamp. So it just completely blew my mind because if spirit wants you to be.

Laurie: There, I’ll be there.

Julie Jancius: Oh, my God.

Laurie: Yeah, I have another angel story, too, but that this week was so crazy when you said, I’m just going to parties. And I said, I know, I was.

Julie Jancius: Like, I gotta run the pilates and I run m back to my meeting. Yeah.

Laurie: Crazy. Yeah, it was great.

Julie Jancius: Amazing. Okay, take your, tell your other story.

Laurie: Okay. This is. I mean, I’ve always felt spiritual things around me, and I’m a true believer. Always angels, people who have crossed over. Fortunately, not many people in my family have crossed over, so I’m fortunate. But many years ago, I was hiking with my three younger children. They’re all grown and older now, my grandmother, but they were probably 1211 and six. And the neighbor kids that were probably twelve and nine. In New Hampshire, a small mountain which is called Patekaway. It was in April, so it was kind of a rough winter. It was very icy. So I was like, this is a quick hike. I can do a quick hike with them because I need to get back in time and put on a little wet, a little bridal shower in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. So I’ll do this quick hike. So I started up with the kids, did the hike, made it to the top, started heading back, and I came down to this impasse where almost like a cul de sac with all these different trails that I would be able to take the kids to. But there were no, what do they call, blazes on the trees, showing which way to go. Because it was such an icy winter that twigs had broken off and things had just that nothing. It wasn’t well marked, and it was early. It was April. So I’m, there. There’s not many people hiking again because it’s April in New Hampshire. And it was just a spur of the moment Laurie taking the kids out to try to do something fun. And, all of a sudden, these two bicyclists come down the hill. And I just was like, thank God, because I am by myself with five young children. And these two guys came down and I said, I am so glad to see you guys, because, we aren’t really sure which way to get back to the parking lot because the trails aren’t marked. And I said, can you guys help us? They said, well, we’re lost too, because the breezes aren’t there. And I said, well, I’m a wreck because I’m, the responsible adult, supposed to be the responsible adult with five children, and I’m putting on this bridal shower, probably in three more hours. So I said to the guys, can one of you stay with me? Because I’m here with the kids and I really could have enough. I need another adult with me. Like, I’m inside, I’m panicking, but I’m acting so calm. And the guy said, don’t worry, we’ll bike ride down and we’ll send help up here and help have somebody come and help you. And I looked at them and I said, no, one of you really needs to stay with me. No sooner did I say that, that one of the bicyclists tires blew. The tube blew, popped. Sounded like a gunshot, scared, like, we all jumped. And he ended up having to stay with us because he didn’t have a spare tube. So the other guy took off to go get, see if he could get help. And this other man stayed with me and the kids. He told jokes. He was, he made the whole rest of the trip so light. And then we’re walking, like, just kind of wandering. And all of a sudden this, the truck, this truck comes up a jerk road with, I hate to be stereotypical, but kind of a scary looking driver in a truck. And he had the other bicyclist with him. And they pulled right up to the friend and me and all the kids, and he said, get in the back of the truck. And he said, I’ll drive you to the trail so that you can make it back to the parking lot. And the kids were all looking up at me with their big eyes like, is this okay? Like, we’re going into this sketchy driver truck now who’s taking us to a trail to get back to the parking lot? And he did. I said, no, we’ll be fine. I had this calm feeling. I said, no, we’ll get in the back of the truck. We’re going to be fine. Sure enough, he drove us down to a trail. He said, stay on that trail. You’ll be right at the parking lot. Made it back home in time to get throw the kids popsicles. And I didn’t take a shower, but I made it to the shower with all the presents from my friend, co worker. But it just out of the blue, this guy stayed with us, his entire. I have never heard such a loud pop.

Laurie: And that was a long time ago, but still, I’ll never forget that when I said, no, you really need to stay with me. And he, and then he had to. And I was like, I look up and I’m like, thank you.

Julie Jancius: Amazing. Amazing. yay. I mean, have you tell your last story? That’s beautiful. I mean, because that could not have happened. More on cue.

Laurie: Yeah. Unbelievable. Again, years ago, I was designated driver. I was DD, and my husband and I were heading into Maine to go to a new year’s party, at a club, dancing and everything in MDD. So we came out of the club after having a nice time, maybe it was like 1231 in the morning, and it was kind of slick. It was snowing a little bit, kind of just eh. But we had a babysitter back in our home, so we were driving, and we’re on route one in Maine, and it’s only a two way street. This way, that way. I go over a hill and I look over and all of the cars are pulled over on the side of the road and blue lights are on. And my husband said, I think they’re doing sobriety checks. He said, they’re pulling everybody over because it’s New Year’s. You’ve got to. We have to stop. So I stepped on the break and proceeded to spin donuts on this two lane street, but everybody was parked in the breakdown lane spinning. And I just said, help me. And my husband said, I can’t. And I mean, with the song Jesus, take the wheel. Like, I’m spinning. I just put my hands up in the air. My car parked between two pulled over cars on the breakdown lane and came to a dead stop. My husband, we both didn’t. We were speechless when I was just yelled, help me. Dead stop. I can’t parallel park on a good day. Like, I was in there, and all of a sudden, our friends, they saw my car, our car, and, they saw that we landed and they came flying down the hill. They were like, oh, my gosh. Like, we saw you. I was like, I don’t know. I was just looking up. Thank you. Unbelievable.

Julie Jancius: unbelievable, unbelievable. Oh, my gosh. I had that happen one time too. Where, if people know Chicago and Lakeshore drive, there’s this one part of lakeshore drive that almost becomes this zigzaggy l like, it’s just a very, very sharp turn, a little bit south of Navy pier. And I was in my really early twenties, just like right out of college, and I was hanging out with some friends and I just got really, like, so upset. And it was maybe like, 03:00 a.m. And I was trying to sleep and they were all just being so loud. And it’s like, I am just out of here. So I’m crying and I’m driving in my little yellow Chevy cavalier, and, all of a sudden my car just starts to hydroplane right where this l kind of happens. And I know that if my car keeps spinning and moving forward at this rate, it is going directly into, like, the intersection, you know, and this big median in the middle that just basically a concrete wall, right? And, you know, you’re in that moment and you’re just like, oh, my God, take control, like, because I have no idea how. And somehow there wasn’t traffic in front of me. I know it’s 03:00 a.m. But there wasn’t any traffic in front of me. There wasn’t any traffic behind me, which never happens on Lakeshore. Even in the middle of the night, it’s still buzzing because Chicago is just very populated.

Julie Jancius: But I know what it’s like to be in the middle, and your car is spinning, and you have zero control over the outcome.

Laurie: Mm It was crazy.

Julie Jancius: Yeah. And my car, too, just, like, stopped right in the middle. Still no cars behind, and I was just able to, like, continue driving.

Laurie: Isn’t it wild?

Julie Jancius: So weird. So wild.

Laurie: Yeah.

Julie Jancius: I mean, I don’t know how else you explain it, because it was almost like, you know, you’re going forward, right? So there’s momentum with the car that’s moving forward, and then it starts to spin, and the momentum should have kept going forward to crash into that concrete wall, but the momentum stopped itself, you know, and it just spun.

Laurie: Yeah.

Julie Jancius: Right where it was. It’s the weirdest thing.

Laurie: It is. And you look up, and you just say, like, who. Who was it watching over me? I get. I’m just. I don’t know if God, you know, I’m just. Thank you. I’ll let m Mike always, like, thank you. It happened one other time that we had something weird, like, well, just not on spinning, but we were heading to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, and I think there was a bad crash or something. But there’s one road that if you’re stuck, and people do tend to go fast and pass, and it’s scary. People are impatient. But this traffic was dead stopped both directions, and my husband and I, like, there must have been a bad crash because nothing is moving. It is dead stop. So we’re there, and, like, yeah, you know, there’s no. Nowhere else really to go. It’s like this one road to get to the lake that we knew of. So we’re just sitting there and, like, maybe we’ll turn around. We don’t know. And weirdly, this truck comes from the other direction, goes past. I first thought it was a tow truck. So I’m like, maybe it’s heading with a car that was just smashed or something. I don’t know what it was, but the truck comes over, goes past all of the cars that are all just basically parked on the road, stopped at our car. My husband put the window down, and this man said to my husband and me, if you guys want to get out of this pile up, follow us, and we’ll get you to another road that will get you to the lake back to. And I was. We were like, we looked at each other like, all right, why a car? So we did. We turned around, went the other way. He cut us through like Farmington, New Hampshire, did. All these back roads. We’re like, I don’t know where we’re going. But sure enough, we came back to a, road that we recognized that got us to where we were going.

Julie Jancius: So wild. Yes. So in some cases it is the angels, and in some cases, it is loved ones. But I keep seeing in years and the story that I told about myself, it’s all angels, right, that are able to come in and just save the day in different ways. It’s interesting, as you were telling that last one, I was, the angels were coming in, particularly your angel team, and talking about something that they want you to know. And it’s this. Sometimes in life, we have a hard time being present where we are right here, right now. Because either we’ve been in survival mode for so many, much of our lives, or we look at other people and be like, well, they’re driven. They’re ambitious. Should I be feeling that drive and that ambition too? And the angel said to come in and tell you, Laurie that some people are just, meant to enjoy, like, just be in a state of enjoyment. They’re like, you’ve been working your entire life to build what you’ve built with your family, just with where you are. And they said you get on your own pace, inside your own head a lot. Like, but I’m here right now. But I should be here. I should be doing this, or I should be doing this. And they’re like, if you just removed that stream of thinking, you’d be happy. Like, you just find a sense of peace just being where you are and truly enjoying your dad. Did you say that your dad is on the other side?

Laurie: No, he’s still, I believe he’s still alive in California.

Julie Jancius: Okay.

Julie Jancius: there’s a fatherly energy on the other side that says that, you just have a hard time enjoying and just relaxing. And they said, your angels say it’s a point at which you’re, like, lesson wise, just in your life. Like, enjoy it.

Laurie: Yeah, enjoy it.

Julie Jancius: Relax. You are where you are, and it’s beautiful. And it’s actually exactly where you wanted to be.

Laurie: M thank you. It could be my grandfather or my father in law. I’ll have to think.

Julie Jancius: Father in law?

Laurie: You think it’s my father in law? Yeah.

Julie Jancius: Because as, I was talking before, I kept seeing a vision of you and your, like, not extended family. But you and your husband and children?

Laurie: Mm Yeah. I would be my father in law. Yeah. Oh, thanks for that.

Julie Jancius: Of course. Of course. no, I’m excited for you. I think that, you’re really going to find that peace that you’ve been looking for, and you find it, too. He said, just breathe. Just breathe.

Laurie: Yeah. I’ve been doing my meditations, and. Have you ever heard of. I’ll hold this up. A wishing rug?

Julie Jancius: Yeah. Yeah.

Laurie: I didn’t know this was called a wishing rock if it. If it has an unbroken circle that goes all the way around it. And I got this on the beach, and I took it here just to work because I thought it was a pretty rock. And I like rocks, and I collect heart rocks. Oh, I even have some heart rocks here. Yeah. So, anyway, I thought it was kind of interesting because I try to, like, journal and doodle on paper now, too, and say, like, if somebody want to come through to me or say anything to me or whatever. And I kept on writing down Amy. I don’t know any Amy. So I thought maybe that was for a friend of mine or something. And then I was drawing some waves because I lived near the ocean. So I ran that by my friend Elaine, too. And I’m like, does the name Amy mean because, you know, right now, I’m kind of like, I can’t tell who’s coming to share something with me for me or share something that maybe I should be sharing to some for somebody else? I can’t.

Julie Jancius: Sure.

Laurie: Don’t know. So she was like, no, I don’t know, Amy. well, maybe my personal trainer. Well, it ended up being a board of selectmen member named Amy who came into my office. I got this from the beach, and she told me, I didn’t know it was ever called a wishing rock. And you make a wish, and you’re supposed to, I guess, draw a ring around it as you make a wish. And once your wish comes true, you pass it on to somebody else. So I think when I was doodling, I have some wishes going on right now, and I’m hoping they come true. I was like, amy’s probably from me, not my friend. And it was the beach. And she told me about this wishing rock. I was like, all right, thank you. I guess this one was for me. And, you know, I don’t know.

Julie Jancius: You know, it’s so funny, because when people come through the angel Reiki school, there is one piece of feedback that I get more than anything else, where everybody always goes, Julie, this is the missing piece that I’ve been looking for. It’s taught me exactly who’s there when they’re bringing through messages, why they’re bringing through the messages, what I need to know when it’s for somebody else. So I’m so excited for you, Laurie as you go through the program, because I really feel that you are a healer, too, and you’re going to be doing so much great work in this world. and, you’ve got an entire angel team right there that’s just ready for you to go through the program and to start working with other people. They’re all there. I can see them. And your spirit team, that’s so awesome.

Laurie: I feel them around me. I even went with a girlfriend to talk about a meditation class that she went to out in, Costa Rica recently. And I showed up at a pizza place in northampton, just the next town over. And as soon as I got out of the car, I was walking into the restaurant, and the license plate that I looked at said, angel. Ah. and I’m like, really? Again, seriously? I know. I keep on going. I know, I’m listening.

Julie Jancius: Well, and that’s the other thing, too. I’ve been having all these calls because we do still have room for the angel Reiki school if anybody’s wanting, to go. You know, I’ve had a couple of people, right, like, let’s say a handful, that have been calling me for the past four years, who are like, I want to do it, but I don’t know exactly what my next steps are, and I don’t know what this is going to lead to. And I just try and get through in the kindest way possible that when you come take the angel Reiki school, it leads to that next step. And you know, you know exactly what, why you’re there. And you start your business, or you, some people, 50% of people don’t want to start a business, but they want to use it and maybe some different way or just develop their gifts to the max. But if you want to use it to serve others or start a business, you get it and you get the services that you can offer, and it all just comes together. But you know how I say, life is like that long hallway and you just get one gift after another, but you don’t know all the gifts you’re going to get. You go in, you take action on the first thing that spirit shows you, and then it shows you the next step, and then you go take action on that, and then it shows you the next step. But unless you take the action step that they’re asking you to take, you don’t get that next piece of information. So I’m just really excited, for you, Laurie because I know as soon as you come through the program, you’re gonna be like, oh, this is why. This is why.

Laurie: And I, am already a Reiki master, but I do, I have listened to your podcast a lot now that you basically, a woman who used to work here said you should do podcasts, and it was yours that Rangeley angels, brought me to your podcast, and I’ve been hooked. Ah.

Julie Jancius: that’s awesome.

Laurie: So I have been listening to it, and I do know about the pieces, and I have been listening about the Reiki master. If you’re a Reiki master, but I do agree with some of your, I mean, not some of it. in your podcast, where you say to people who are Reiki, either practitioners, masters, or to Reiki one or Reiki two, that you’re course takes it to a whole other level, that it’s not just, and I’m not making light of it, it’s not just relaxing people to heal that you actually encompass the angels with you to, effect change for the person that you’re working on.

Julie Jancius: Yeah, if that makes sense. Oh, totally. And, you know, it’s actually that it’s, it’s probably titled wrong. Like, I think that that’s what’s wrong with the program, but I already have the trademark for it. Angel, Reiki school. I wish I would have called it Angel Reiki mediumship school, but that’s just, like, way too long. It’s that you’re getting certified in all three things at one time. Mediumship, angel messages, and energy healing all at once. and 30% to 33% of everybody who comes through either is a Reiki master or has some sort of training in Reiki. It’s not because you need that. It’s because they’re not getting what they need out of that program. And really, when you look at why people go through the certification programs that they do, it’s in order to benefit the client and what the client needs and what the angels always say is that Reiki is wonderful, and energy healing is wonderful. But when you look at the mechanics of it, when you get an energy healing session, any type of energy healing session, energy healing traditionally is a silent modality. So you go in, you feel the energy of oneness, you move that energy through your body, you clear out your chakras, you clear out your auric field. You feel good. But people, the angels always say, are reliant on the Reiki master or the Reiki practitioner, to keep feeling that, because that feeling within their body that they feel fades 4 hours after their session a day, seven days, you know, max right afterwards. So when you incorporate messages, it’s working with the root of, what’s causing the energy vibration to begin with. So when a person comes in for a session with me and their dad comes through and says, we know you want to go for this position at work, but you’ve been really nervous, or you’ve been wanting to ask for a pay raise, or grandma comes through and says, we know that you want to find your person in life and start a family. And they show the person the vision of where they’re going to. They’re going to get that raise, they’re going to accomplish what they want to at work. They’re going to have that family. I don’t know the person from boo, right. This just comes through, and every session is so different. what ends up happening is that when that person goes back into their daily life, the energy doesn’t fade, right? So the thought comes up, what if I never have the family? What if I don’t get the pay rise? What if I don’t get the position that I’m going through? If they hadn’t had the session, their mind would continue to ruminate on the negative. And actually, that’s where it ties into manifestation, because then they would be attracting what they don’t want. But when you add messages into a session, what the angels say is people go back into their lives. The thought comes up now, they’re aware of the thought, and immediately, instead of attaching to it, they go, no. My grandma came in and said this. My dad came in and said this. My mom came in and said this, my angel came in and said, this is where I’m headed. And so it gives them this, boost that they need to really drive them to the future that they want. That’s what the messages themselves accomplish, so they don’t go back to their old energy, energy healing, plus messages in a session, good, loving, positive messages. Because I had it again the other day. Somebody came over to me Wednesday, and they’re like, julie, I went to this session, and this person told me that this negative thing was going to happen. Are they right?

Laurie: No.

Julie Jancius: You know, my husband and I have been watching, manhunt on Apple TV. It’s all about John Wilkes Booth assassinating Lincoln. And what I found so interesting in that is just how much John Wilkes Booth attached to a psychic reading he got as a kid. The. His mom had a psychic come into the house and the woman told his brother, you’re going to do amazing things. You’re going to work with amazing people. You’re going to be known by all. You’re going to be a good person. And she looked at John Wilkes Booth and she goes, and you’re going to be like the king of the darkness. You’re going to be famous, but for bad reasons. And he carried that with him his entire life. So what comes first, the chicken or the egg? If she had looked at him and said, john, you’re going to do great things in this life. You are going to be an upstanding person. You’re going to be wonderful, would he have been a different adult? Right, right. So it’s just loving, positive messages. But when you allow yourself to connect with the loving, positive messages that the other side, your spirit team, is always bringing through to you, oh, my God, it can take you to new heights. It gives you strength. That gives you intuitive messages to help you along your journey. You figure things out. And I just feel like we just feel so much more at home within ourselves when we’re following our own personal journey.

Laurie: M so true. Yeah, it’s so true. And my husband, a lot of times now, is even looking at me many times. like, things don’t make sense, you know? And he’s like, why has that happened? Or with the construction. We had a crazy quote on a double mirror, like a mirror. And all of a sudden, I got an email, I reached out and I was like, you know, it’s kind of too high. I don’t think we’re going to go this route, but I really wish. I’d love to have you still do the work you’re going to be doing the glass in the shower. All of a sudden, I get an email from the company and they’re like, we really want you to have your mirror. And they went from, like $545 to 420. And so I came home, this was just this week also, and my husband’s like, why did they reduce it to 420? I’m like, I don’t know. I said, I can show you the email. But she was like, call me. She said, I talked to Chris, the owner, and, yeah, he wants to take off. Extra, extra. And I was like, all right, well, wow, thank you. Yeah, we’ll go with that. But I’m baffled, too, but I’m just like, oh, thank you. Like, you really, you know, thanks, mama. I think it’s my mom. I think she’s overseeing this bathroom project, my dream never ending bathroom project. But, So I was like, but all of the pieces are falling just so smoothly, right down to a mirror. That was a ridiculous price to normal.

Julie Jancius: I had that happen last year. We wanted to redo our back patio because we moved into the new house, I don’t know how many years ago now. And, the. You know, when you do, like, brick pavers, they get all wonky after a while because we have, like, a lot of. I don’t know if they’re moles or chipmunks that go underneath and create tunnels and then the brick sink. So I was like, okay, I know brick pavers are just, like, so popular with everybody, but when we live on this massive hill, our yard is completely at a slant to begin with. And two, we have all these chipmunks and stuff running around, and they’re definitely going to create these holes. So I was like, I’m just going to do concrete. So I had three different quotes come through, and they were all just like, I didn’t want to go there. and I was like, God, if you want me to do this, show me the right person. And I just let a month go by, and I was at my husband’s end of year band concert last year, and this guy in front of me is wearing a neon shirt, and, it just says, like, concrete on it, and it has a number underneath. So I asked him anywhere, afterwards, I was like, hey, I’m his husband, you know, your daughter’s teacher’s wife. could we have you over? And he’s like, oh, my gosh. You know, like, we’re booked out until October, but I’ll fit you in for this job. And he was less than half of the quote of all the other construction guys. Like concrete.

Laurie: Isn’t that wild?

Julie Jancius: Yes. Yes.

Laurie: It happens all the time.

Julie Jancius: I know if you just put it in their hands, they figure it out for you. The angels.

Laurie: Yeah. It’s just incredible. I just. I, mean, I do hope more and more people just open their hearts to angels and miracles and their loved ones more. Talk to their loved ones. Like, just brings out all positive.
